I decided to go with the Juuban High School variation because I found the dark blue pleated skirt at a second-hand store for about three dollars. |

A few weeks later, I found the Sailor shirt at a Army-Navy surplus shop for six dollars. The shirt itself is very old, as I found out by the materials used and how it was put together. I tucked the excess length under and hemmed it up, while using velcro to hold together where the zipper was. I filled in the white pinstripes on the sailor flap with a red marker.

The front bow was made from a dark blue material I found in a bargin bin at Wal-Mart. The material is a little lighter than it should be, but it will do. |

I made the red bow out of scrap material and an extra hair clip. I bleached my hair, which took about three packets of bleacher from Hot Topic to get to that shade. |
I would say that the total cost of putting this together was about $12-15, not counting hair bleach.
